I am a scientist passionate about understanding Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS) and related conditions from both research and patient perspectives. My work focuses on uncovering genetic contributors to hypermobile EDS (hEDS) and related conditions such as MCAS and POTS, conducting functional follow-up studies, and exploring the role of the immune system in hEDS.
Outside the lab, I translate complex research into accessible content through posts, infographics, blogs, and videos, making EDS science understandable for patients, caregivers, and the broader public.
My goal is to uncover the biological mechanisms underlying EDS and other chronic conditions while improving the lives of those affected through research, education, and outreach.
